"Lassie Come-Home" foi publicado pela primeira vez no Sunday Evening Post. Personagem de ficção criada por Eric Knight, rapidamente se tornou um êxito. Adaptada ao cinema, em 1943, com o mesmo título, contou com Roddy McDowall e Elizabeth Taylor como protagonistas. Posteriormente, seriam realizados vários filmes e séries de televisão que dariam continuidade ao êxito da história. É um clássico que apela à lealdade e ao amor e, sem dúvida, cativa-nos desde miúdos.

This movie looks like the perfect one to watch at home in winter. That dog is so beautiful and I already know it's going to be a difficult movie as Lassie's life story is so dramatic and I can't see animals suffer without tears in my eyes... Hope Fox is doing great and remains being crazily happy or happily crazy :P Greets from the guineas. Vince has grown up a lot and is now more or less same size as Ralph...

I also love this movie and I still remember that Lassie series that I use to watch on TV when I was a child. I was raised with pets all my life,we had on my parents'home dogs and cats and we also had winnie pigs, they are really sweet. Surely this is a movie for the next Winter evenings. Althought I never watch TV I like to see a movie now and then, specially on those cold winter nights where we can lay on the sofa with a warm blanket and the fire on. Those are the beautiful winter nights that I love. Hugs TI
